Preserving and protecting our natural resources while enjoying our personal recreation is what stewardship is all about.  We provide education and enjoyable activities that can be integrated into programs for people of all ages.

 

We offer field trips for children - senior citizens.

Marine Camp provides 1-2 week programs for students to explore the wonders of the ocean in an exciting, integrated program with scuba diving/snorkeling tours, group instruction, laboratory and field science activities, and artistic stewardship projects.  Students have the opportunity to meet with research scientists and learn about careers in the physical and biological marine sciences.

Are you planning a vacation locally, or on a tropical island? Do you want to improve your seamanship for boating? Do you need to understand the potential weather and shoreline concerns for a real estate investment? Are you interested in learning about the geologic history that created the landscapes we see?

 

Science can be fun and interesting.  Learn amazing science as you tour the shoreline and make your own field observations.  

 

Walking and SUP tours are available.

We work with families, friends, individuals and groups.  Spend a day at the beach and learn how to "read the water".  Understand tides, currents, rip currents, wave motions, and wind patterns while swimming, learning to boogie board, surf or paddle. Knowledge and skills are the key to safety!
